For our Trim plant in Ceska Lipa we are looking for Launch Engineer.
Will in a first step manage face-lift product programs growing to Major product programs.

The responsibilities for this position:
" Excellent communicator.
" Drive SDT to have responsibility for each functional area of the start-up. Coach and motivate the launch team to encourage ownership and responsibility for the activities (functional deliverables and reporting) .
" Key interface between customer business unit/program manager/JIT plant and plant launch team to achieve the program's targets on time, cost, quality and manufacturing feasibility.
" Coordinate identification of plant launch team (business team = SDT) and work with functional managers to identify.
" Ensure program adherence to BOS
" Ensure launch activities and reporting according to PLUS & JC Trim systems
" Ensure that MEQ standards are understood and used
" Create start-up plan, maintain timeline, Manufacturing Readiness and open issues list to ensure the program achieves customer milestones, internal deliverables, and engineering deadlines and plant start-up in line with the program timeline.
" Ensure Operations agreement on Capital, Tooling Equipment and other Plant related costs and investments for Program Budget.
" Supervise the launch performance report
" Monitor Ramp Schedule of customer production build quantities and dates needed
" Feedback to engineering to ensure Manufacturing feasibility, attend and supervise Manufacturing review (build events)
" Monitoring of timely completion Supplier Process Sign-Off and Parts Submission at suppliers.
" Ensuring that Key Suppliers are present during the launch and are integrated in to team and are effective.

Qualifications:
" Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering
" At least 3-5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
" Quality/Engineering/Process experience
" Support minimum 2 trim product launches as SDT member.
" Manufacturing Operations Experience , Quality Management (PPAP/APQP)
" Lean Manufacturing (JCMS)
" MS Project, MS Office, Lotus Notes, Excel
" English fluent
