Position Responsibilities:
Accounting/Controlling
* Drives month-end closing process in accordance with internal guidelines and policies
* Acts as an interface between Share Service Centers (SSC) and other ledger finance personnel located in Czech Rep. and abroad to ensure smooth and effective closing
* Prepare month end accounting entries - intercompany recharges, accruals, recurring entries and overhead allocation, EU grant monthly booking
* Issuing invoices for Engineering projects
* Check posting of IC nettings and ad hoc manual postings
* Drives the business cost calculation for the Innovation Center
Reporting
* Works with the EEIC Finance Manager to produce the yearly Profit Plan, Monthly Forecasts and project finance
* Assists EEIC Finance manager in monitoring performance and provides accurate and timely financial information and analysis to various levels of management
* Prepares and maintains rolling forecasts for diverse engineering team and support functions located in EEIC
* Performs process & system improvements to deliver world-class decision making; Identifies standard process deviation, process inefficiency/ineffectiveness and opportunities for process improvement
* Performs specialized analyses to support day to day and as well as strategic business decisions per direction from EEIC Finance managerr
* Supports compliance to USGAAP, local GAAP, corporate policy, guidelines and internal control, cooperates with Internal and external audit
* Supports ad-hoc projects

* Up to 1 home office day per week (manager’s approval required)
